We are seeking an experienced and professional nanny to support a wonderful single mom in the West Village, NYC. The primary responsibility will be caring for a delightful three-year-old child in a laid-back, respectful, and loving environment. The ideal candidate will become a co-parent figure, working closely with the mother to provide exceptional care and support for the child's development. Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care for the three-year-old child.
Act as a co-parent figure, working collaboratively with the mother to establish routines and support the child's growth.
Demonstrate exceptional boundaries and respect for both the child and the family dynamics.
Implement respectful parenting techniques, treating the child as a little adult while understanding and addressing their developmental needs.
Plan and engage in creative and age-appropriate activities to stimulate the child's development.
Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including the ability to work overnights and travel with the family when necessary.
Support the child through emotional moments and developmental milestones with empathy and understanding.
Assist with light tidying related to childcare duties.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a professional nanny, preferably with toddlers.
Comfortable acting as a go-between for two homes and supporting families with custody agreements.
Ability to establish and maintain open communication with the family.
Experience with respectful parenting and a strong understanding of child development.
Comfortable with city living and be able to navigate the West Village and surrounding areas.
Stable, creative, and worldly mindset, with a strong emphasis on safety and emotional support.
Willingness to travel with the family as needed.
Comfortable around big dogs.
Option for living in or living out arrangements.
The primary caregiver's responsibilities are when the mother travels for work.
Compensation and Schedule:
$35- $40 gross per hour with OT
Full-time promised minimum 40 hours a week. You must be flexible for when needed.

MUSTS:
Be legal to work in the US and 21 years of age
Reasonable commute
Up to date on vaccinations
CPR/ First Aid certified
Have at least 5 years of professional nanny experience
Toddler exp. A must
Have professional references and letters of recommendation
Must be ok with dogs
Must be able to commit to the family for at least a year
Must be open to travel internationally and domestic
Must be AWESOME
