We are looking for a standout Nanny to join a wonderful team supporting a lovely and BUSY high-profile family in Venice Beach California. This nanny will be joining a nanny team of two nannies who have been with the family for some time . The ideal candidate will be proactive & engaging for fun loving creative children. We are looking for a candidate who has experience working with HNW family’s (maintaining confidentiality and being professional all the time). Someone with  experience with toddlers & babies. Must have the ability to manage three children under the age of 5.  Two children are in school during week, so this is where you would be taking the initiative to do extra projects, organizing, light meal prep for the children and caring for the youngest child; keep nap and feeding schedule on point.  They are a laid back and kind family, that's looking for someone that's up for an adventure, who is really creative and has really good energy and vibes all around.   Someone who is super motivated and active with a "can do attitude". You would be required to be flexible for an earlier start some time and some travel; back up of existing team of nannies. In addition to caring for children, we are looking for a candidate that has the ability to do light cleaning and any other household tasks or errands. No task to big or small. Must have a spotless driving record, comfortable driving children and a working knowledge of West LA (car provided). This is a busy and dynamic household; ideal candidate will be flexible and can travel preferably on a US passport so there are no visa issues.  

Compensation: $30- $35 or DOE with promised hours with OT (this family really wants the best)

10 Days Vacation, Heath Care Reimbursement and Sick time

Experience:

• Great with kids under 6

• Experience with 3 or more kids a plus

• Portuguese or Spanish a plus as kids are trilingual

• Screen Time: Willingness to read frequently to children and to have limited phone time in front of them. The children watch no more than 1 tv show a week and spend their free time participating in free play, solo play, making art, going to local parks and participating in fun after school activities.

• Cook: Ability to cook the kids healthy meals. During downtime the nannies make the majority of the kids meals. Healthy meals are an important part of this family’s life and there is a balance of ordering in and eating simple leftovers to lessen the workload. The house manager will manage the grocery shops for the house.
   

Typical work week: Monday to Friday Expected 45hours/week base promised. Some weekends and travel will be Paid OT. Late nights will be Mondays and Tuesday

• Mon-Tues 12PM-11PM

• Wed-Thurs 12PM-7:30PM

• Fri 11AM-7PM

Overtime will be needed to support this family:

• Some early mornings: The family starts their day at 7AM. There will be early starts on days the kids are home from school or when the Rota nanny is out.

• Willing to travel: Holidays, Summer, Christmas, long weekends and Spring breaks

• Sleep over when covering other nannies or if traveling.
