Job Title: Experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)
Location: Pacific Heights, San Francisco
Position Type: Temporary (3-4 months)
Start Date: Mid-May (baby due via surrogate June 2)
Compensation: $35 - $45 per hour
Great new family based in Pacific Heights, San Francisco, eagerly anticipating the arrival of their newborn baby via surrogate on June 2nd. They are seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to join them starting in mid-May to provide comprehensive support and expertise. Their ideal candidate will be seasoned in all aspects of newborn care and will help us navigate the early stages of parenthood with confidence and reassurance.
Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 newborn care support.
Assist with feeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing the baby.
Establish and maintain healthy sleep routines and feeding schedules.
Monitor the baby's health and development, identifying any concerns and communicating them promptly to the parents.
Educate and support the parents in newborn care techniques and best practices.
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the baby at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Newborn Care Specialist, preferably with previous experience in 24/7 care arrangements.
Deep understanding of newborn development, feeding methods, and sleep patterns.
Ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to both the baby and the parents.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and provide guidance.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of CPR and other emergency procedures for infants required.
Flexibility in schedule to accommodate the needs of the family and the baby.

MUSTS:
Infant Experience
five minimum years of experience working with each past family.
Covid-19 vaccinated and boosted
CPR/ First Aid certified (current)
Trusline Certified (CA Only)
Open to submitting to a 10-point background check once an offer of employment has been made.
Be at least 21 years of age
Able to be paid via W2 and legally work in the United States.
