Overview: We're looking for an experienced and nurturing Daytime Nanny/Newborn Care Specialist to provide comprehensive support to a new mom expecting a baby around February 6. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in caring for the newborn, ensuring a smooth transition for both the baby and the family. This is a short-term position primarily focusing on newborn care, supplemented by occasional tasks like preparing meals for a toddler.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert daytime care for the newborn, focusing on their well-being, safety, and development.
Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule.
Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the newborn's early developmental stages.
Collaborate with the new mom to support her in adjusting to the demands of caring for a newborn.
Occasionally prepare meals for the toddler.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a daytime nanny or newborn care specialist, with a strong focus on newborn care.
Familiarity with newborn developmental stages and age-appropriate activities.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and provide support to a new mom.
First aid and CPR certification for infants.
Compensation: $35 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
MUSTS:
5 years of experience working with infants and newborns
Covid-19 vaccination and boosted
CPR/ First Aid certified (current)
Trusline Certified
Open to submitting to a 10-point background check once an offer of employment has been made.
Be at least 21 years of age
Able to be paid via W2 and legally work in the United States.
