Calling all our Brooklyn Nannies!!! Really lovely family with two children 7 months and 3. We absolutely adore this family. We are looking for someone who is looking for full time and is excellent background with toddlers and infants. Your days will be spent mostly with the infant who is 7 months as the 3 year old is in school four times a week this year and will be in school five days a week in the fall.
Someone who has great communication and boundaries, committed and wants to be part of the family
ok with family being around
Someone who leads an active lifestyle (able to do 5 flights of stairs children things on the first two floors)
Some background in child development a plus, understands the toddler stage but also infants.
Someone engaging, proactive, able to plan enriching activities and plan outings/ plan playdates, great at teaching manners
Able to travel 2 weeks to several months both domestic and international
General nanny tasks: anything childcare related including kids laundry, children’s areas in the home, children’s bedroom organization. Also you will be required to clean up after or with the aid of the children. This family does employ a housekeeper 2 times a week for the deep cleaning. Home is a neat and tidy home, this family expects their nanny to tidy as you go with child related things.
General feel is laid back with a neat and tidy organized vibe (family loves a great aesthetic)
Must be comfortable with parents working in and out of the home
Must be ok with a small dog (no care needed)
Must be covid vaccinated
Must be have a drivers license and comfortable driving when needed.
Must know NYC and Brooklynn
This request that their nanny only use their phone throughout the day for emergencies only.
Location: Brooklyn Heights, NYC, preference will be given to those who are currently living in Brooklyn.
Ages of children: Preschooler and Newborn
Start date/Contract dates: Sept 2023 or sooner really want to get the right fit.
Schedule: Full time schedule Monday - Friday, 8-6
Compensation: Hourly range $30- $35 gross per hour or DOE, promised hours and OT after 40 hours.
Benefits: 2 weeks vacation, sick days, holidays paid + a stipend toward health Insurance, Metro card, 5 sick days

MUSTS:
Infant and Toddler Exp.
5 years of experience working in the childcare or related field.
Covid 19 vaccinated and boosted (stated cases)
CPR/ First Aid certified (current)
Open to submitting to a 10 point background check once an offer of employment has been made.
Be at least 21 years of age
Able to be paid via W2 and legal to work in the United States.
