Playful + Fun + Active Nanny
Really great family is looking for an amazing Nanny for adorable super smart 4-year-old daughter. They are looking for someone who is kind, educated, creative, into imaginative play, who will really engage and enrich the little ones life. The job itself is super easy there is no cooking, basic tidying, no laundry. Would like someone who is proactive and if they see something that needs to be done they will be open to leaving the house better then they left it. (organizing of the daughter things, counter wiped down etc.) They are very tidy so there is by no means heavy housekeeping.
MUST- Be reliable, dependable as dad has a REALLY demanding job and needs consistency, unwavering commitment in the person they are hiring to be there no matter what. For example if their is a snow day you would need to pick up the daughter from school or if she was sick you would need to be available. Daughter is beyond bright and smart.
Must have a car for drop off and pickups and outings. The 4-year-old is in day camp 3 days a week for 8 hours a day in the summer and 7 hours of pre-K in the fall for the school year (bonus you will still get paid for the hours she is in camp and at school).
The schedule ONE WEEK on and ONE WEEK off 7am- 7pm Monday- Friday (middle of the day you aren't working).
School year schedule is:
Week 1: Monday 3:30-7pm, Tuesday 7am- 9am, Wednesday 7am-9am, Friday 3:30-7pm
Week 2: Thursday 3:30- 7pm, Friday 7am-9am
Compensation is for 60 hours each week even though you are working 26.5 hours TOTAL for both weeks once school starts for the weeks you are on. $1000- $1200 DOE at the start of each week you are “On”. SUPER AMAZING JOB right?
Job Start Sept 30th, Interviewing in the next few weeks.
This would be a really great position for someone who is a retired teacher or another mom who has grown children. Honestly if we lived closer to Brunswick we would totally work for this family. This family currently employees a nanny who they love but will be needing to take some time off.
