A high-profile and high-net-worth family in Fort Lauderdale is looking for an experienced nanny to care for their 16-month-old and 2.5-year-old children. The family already has several nannies, and they are seeking a proactive and safety-conscious nanny who can handle stressful situations calmly (i.e., tantrums, etc.), possesses an adventurous spirit, and loves to travel. The family is fun-loving and adventurous and spends June and July in the Hamptons, with plans for four months of travel next year.
Responsibilities:
Perform general tasks of childcare, including feeding, bathing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, prioritizing their health and happiness.
Collaborate with other nannies and staff members to provide seamless care for the children.
Planned and organized educational and recreational activities to promote the children's development and stimulate their minds.
Handle situations calmly and effectively, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating the activities of other nannies, taking the burden off the family's plate.
Accompany the family on travel adventures, providing continuity of care and support for the children.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a nanny, a background in childcare, and a track record of providing excellent care for young children.
Happy, caring, and kind demeanor, with a genuine love for children and a passion for their well-being.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to guide and support other nannies as needed.
Adventurous spirit and love for travel, with the flexibility to accompany the family on extended trips.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Prior experience in high-profile environments, with the ability to remain calm and composed under stress.
Schedule and Compensation:
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options, including Monday through Thursday, Tuesday through Friday, or Friday through Monday, with 11 to 12-hour days.
Competitive compensation ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 annually, including applicable overtime.
Benefits include a medical insurance stipend, two weeks of paid vacation, sick days, and some holidays.

Musts:
5 years or more experience working with toddlers
CPR/ First Aid Certified
Able to travel internationally and domestically.
Up to date with all vaccinations
College education preferred.
Knowledge of working and comfortable navigating the city
Willingness to work with the parents to curate engaging and thoughtful experiences for children, not limited to outings and playdates.
Able to prepare healthy meals: knowledge of food introduction and developmental milestones.
