We seek an exceptional full-time Live-In Nanny to provide 24/5 or 6 (preferably 6 days) coverage for a wonderful family splitting their time between Paris, France, with temporary residence in Los Angeles until June with international and domestic travel. This dynamic family is looking for a compassionate and experienced caregiver who is passionate about children, dedicated to their developmental milestones, and willing to provide lifelong learning opportunities. The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong background in newborn/ infant care and be comfortable supporting infants into the toddler stage. Second language is considered a positive attribute. The family currently speaks fluent English and French. Flexibility, professional solid boundaries, knowing how to read the room, and the need to love dogs.
Their ideal person will have a passport and be able to travel freely, but not a dealbreaker. This person does not need to speak French, although a second language would be helpful. Speaking French because of where your home base would be would also be helpful. Theyβre open to candidates in the US or outside of the US, but they must be able to travel to the US freely.
Responsibilities:
Provide round-the-clock care and support for the family's newborn(s) and children.
Collaborate with the current Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) during the transition period.
Create a nurturing and stimulating environment to promote the children's growth and development.
Support and encourage developmental milestones through engaging activities and play.
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the family's travel plans and changing needs.
Communicate effectively with the parents regarding the children's well-being, progress, and any concerns.
Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.
Ensure the safety and security of the children at all times.
Assist with light household duties related to the children's care and living spaces.
Develop a strong bond with the children and provide emotional support and guidance.
Qualifications:
CPR and First Aid certification.
Five years of nanny experience required
Previous experience and expertise in newborn care and childcare.
Passion for children's well-being and understanding of developmental milestones.
Lifelong learner with a desire for continuing education opportunities.
Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
Dedication to providing exceptional care and support for newborns, infants, and toddlers.
Flexibility, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
Friendly, talkative demeanor with strong personal boundaries.
Must love pets, as there is a small animal in the home.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary ranges from $150k to $180k, or DOE, depending on your experience, qualifications, and the role you seek.
