A vibrant and creative family on the Upper East Side seeks a full-time nanny to join their dynamic household. The primary responsibility will be caring for their energetic 2 1/2-year-old, with additional opportunities to engage in creative and athletic activities. The position requires someone who is organized and adept at coordinating schedules and enthusiastic about planning playdates and outings and researching developmentally appropriate activities. Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional care for a 2 1/2-year-old with a focus on creativity and athleticism.
Plan and organize playdates, outings, and fun, developmentally appropriate activities.
Maintain an organized schedule or diary for the child's daily routines and activities.
Navigate the streets of New York City safely with the child, showcasing a strong knowledge of the city.
Travel with the family four times a year, including longer trips to Europe in the summer.
Actively engage in entertaining and hosting activities, welcoming other children to the family's home.
Collaborate with the current Amazing Nanny during the transition period.
Demonstrate flexibility with a typical 8 or 9 AM start to 6 PM, with the ability to stay later on short notice due to the mother's work-related travel.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a nanny with a focus on toddlers and young children.
Knowledgeable about New York City and comfortable navigating the streets with a 2 1/2-year-old.
Highly organized with strong coordination skills.
Proactive, energetic, and a team player.
Willing to travel four times a year, including international trips.
Comfortable with entertaining and hosting activities.
Must be Covid vaccinated.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive outside of the city.
Compensation: The family offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $30 to $35, depending on experience.
Benefits: The family is open to providing some benefits, including a full MetroCard.

Musts:
5 years or more experience working with toddlers
CPR/ First Aid Certified
Able to travel internationally and domestically.
Up to date with all vaccinations
College Educated preferred.
Knowledge of working and comfortable navigating the city
Willingness to work with the parents to curate engaging and thoughtful experiences for children, not limited to outings and playdates.
Able to prepare healthy meals: knowledge of food introduction and developmental milestones.
