We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented part-time executive housekeeper for a private residence in Soho NYC. The ideal candidate should be someone who understands the importance of maintaining a clean and organized living space while respecting the preferences and routines of the family. Trustworthiness, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with other household employees are crucial for success in this role. The family is open to adjusting the schedule based on the candidate's availability and needs. This family also employee a full time nanny who takes care of all child related tasks.
Location: Soho, New York City
Schedule: Ideally twice a week (flexible, potentially 1x or 3x a week)
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning and tidying duties with a focus on a deep clean at least once a week.
Conduct thorough cleaning tasks, including inside appliances, fridge cleaning, vent cleaning, and baseboard cleaning.
Light cleaning and tidying on the second day.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the residence.
Additional Responsibilities:
Run errands for the family.
Keep track of household goods and create replacement item lists.
Potentially engage in grocery shopping.
Drop off dry cleaning and handle laundry (excluding specific preferences).
Assist with light cooking or meal prep.
Qualifications:
Trustworthy and reliable.
Detail-oriented with a flexible approach to tasks.
Willingness to take direction and adapt to specific preferences.
Comfortable around dogs and other employees
Ability to work collaboratively with other household employees.
No family Laundry
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end residential setting.
Strong organizational skills for managing household tasks.
Ability to handle responsibilities with a high level of discretion.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Compensation:
$35- $45 an hour
Promised hours 15-20 a week * maybe more for the right person.
